Description
“Scotland, Africa” is a big band arrangement by Bill Dobbins, a tune that wears its influences on its sleeve as well as in its title. Playable by most any level big band, I’ve performed this with high school, college as well as professional bands.
Scored for 5 saxophones, 4 trombones (incl bass trombone), 5 trumpets, full rhythm section with optional solo vibes part (originally played by Mike Mainieri of Steps Ahead). The PDF download includes a separate score.
