Happy Valentine’s Day !!!
Greetings from a very cold Washington, DC, where I am about to play in concert with the National Symphony Orchestra in accompaniment to Seth MacFarlane, singing many great Nelson Riddle arrangements that were originally written for Frank Sinatra. And with Sinatra’s bassist of many years Chuck Berghofer at the rhythm section helm, you know this is going to be a swinging Valentine’s Day.
I love my wife and I love my kids. I love my life and I love my drums (and cymbals and drumheads and sticks & brushes)! I love my friends, and I love my music.
And I love that Steps Ahead just finished a great gig in Tokyo, and will be playing in New York City at Birdland Feb 24 – 28 … hope to see as many of my New York buddies there as possible.
