No better way to spend a summer’s day than at the Hollywood Bowl at the Playboy Jazz Festival.
I played the very first Playboy Jazz Fest back in 1979 with Weather Report, and have always enjoyed returning there. This year’s show with Seth MacFarlane will feature a big band of L.A.’s finest, playing some really swinging charts. Joel McNeely will conduct. Chuck Berghofer will be playing the bass. ‘Nuff said!
